Hey Jason, My BIOS is allreday update, and its the latest ( 1.16 ).

: Latest bios version 1.16: http://www.aopen.nl/tech/download/mbbios/ak73pro.htm

: Jason

: : Hey bill,

: : Sorry, but this is no upgrade XP, this is a new and clean installtion, this is my second install of XP that the camera wont work.
: : The camera didnt wored on Win 2000 either.
: : She worked on in Win98SE.

: : : Unplug all USB devices and boot from the WinXP CD. Select Install and then Repair.

: : : I assume that this is an upgrade to XP. If so, I recommend installing XP on a formatted hard drive. Otherwise, WinXP inherits bad blood from the old setup.

: : : Bill

: : : : Yes i have bill, I got the latest 4in1. i also tried the USB filter.
: : : : why the mouse stop working when the picture freeze ?
: : : : the mouse is also USB ...

: : : :
: : : : : Windows XP is so good with all USB controllers that I normally assume that it's not a hardware problem. Have you applied the VIA 4-in-1 drivers?

: : : : : Bill

: : : : : : Allreday tried it Bill, Wont work even with the orginal XP drivers.
: : : : : : Are you sure its drivers ? Its seem to me more like and USB conflict ...

: : : : : : : Have you tried the latest drivers from Logitech?:

: : : : : : : http://www.logitech.com/cf/support/quickcamfiles.cfm

: : : : : : : If you are using those already, try changing the driver to the MS-supplied one in XP.

: : : : : : : Bill

: : : : : : : : I tried everything, New drivers, Change from ACPI to Standart PC, Kyboard USB on on bios ...
: : : : : : : : My mouse is also USB and when the picture freeze, the mouse dissapears, stop working.
