Thanks for the reply:
No nothing is working on the header. I know it's sharing a irq with the integrated USB. I have tried different connections but nothing is working.
Thanks
: The header is very likely sharing an IRQ. Does anything work on the header? It may be connected incorrectly.

: : I have the same problem. I'm using a Win2K. The web cam works in the integrated USB but not the header USB.

: : VIA chipset.
: : : Your friend likely doesn't have an AMD chipset. Find that unknown driver in Device Manager and go to the driver tab. Update driver. Show all. Have disk. Browse to the driver disk and install the cam driver. Do this in both Win98 and Win2k. Ignore the warnings.
: : : Go here for AMD driver updates:

: : : : Hi there, I have recently purchased a Kodak DX3700 digital camera but am having great difficulty connecting it to my PC. It uses the Easyshare camera docking system which plugs into my USB slot at the back of my PC.
: : : : I have 2 USB slots built onto my Motherboard, which is a Biostar M7MKA. In the one I have my Microsoft Intellimouse which works perfectly and was recognised straight away and in the other one I put my camera.
: : : : I am running Windows ME and followed the instructions to the letter from the Kodak manual. I firstly installed the software, rebooted, and then plugged in the camera. What I get is the following message -
: : : : Unknown Device - This device is either not present, not working properly, or does not have the drivers installed (code 10)
: : : : I have formatted my Hard drive 3 times now and installed Windows ME and XP (with XP specific drivers found on Kodak website) but to no avail it still comes up with the same thing.
: : : : I went round to a friends house and installed the camera no problem, he too is using ME so it mujst be my computer setup. I have checked in the BIOS and USB support is Enabled and USB Keyboard is also Enabled. I am at the end of my tether here with this computer and feel like throwing it out of the window.
: : : : The computer knows the USB is OK as my mouse is working fine and it shows up the USB hub and host controllers in Device Manager.
: : : : Can anyone help me with suggestions??
: : : : My setup is as follows:
: : : : Motherboard: Boistar M7MKA
: : : : CPU: AMD Athlon 550
