Ahhh...you downloaded the "Intel HDC" drivers then. Can you get into Safe Mode?

: I downloaded the windows critical update package, and once i installed it, and rebooted my computer, the message appeared that my no scsi host adapters were found, so i'm trying to find out how to download these adapters, the primary ata controller is an intel 82371 AB/EB? Any help or advice as what to do next would be greatly appreciated.
