Boot into Safe Mode and remove the Primary and Secondary hard drive controllers *or* change the driver to an older version. Restart normally and go *directly* to Windows Update (do NOT restart when prompted) and select "Show Installed Updates". Find the Intel HDC drivers and uninstall them right there.
