Alright, let me outline my problem.
-Acer Travelmate 734tvx
-WinXP
-External HD
-intel(r) 82371AB/EB PCI to USB universal host
controllerI plug my harddrive into the usb port (usb 1.1) and it says its a USB 2 device and it will have to run slower. Im alright with this. At this point now, the system locks 90% of the time. So i try until i get it installed. Once installed if i access it or copy things to it, i ofcourse lock up..... the system becomes very unstable.... i have tried the HD on my PC, and it works fine, no errors/problems with it.. any ideas? thanks in advance for your help :O)
