You really need another USB controller to share the load. You can pick up a USB adapter card for ~$20US.

: ok, i just found out when i plug out my printer the scanner causes no more problems...that means that i only have this problem when i have both usb-dvices plugged in....windows starts perfecly when only one is plugged in...but i donīt agree with this situation too....please advisetaylor
