Nevermind the Win95 thing. Win95 doesn't support USB cards, apparently.

: You need a BIOS dated 6/98 or later, I'm afraid. You also need Win95B or C and better. In the case of Win95, you need to install the USB Supplement. I'm not sure if it supports cards though:

: : just added a 2-port USB 1.0 hub to my Pentium-166 pc, award bios v4.51P6 (April 97). win-me auto-detected card after bootup and installed new hdware. tested connection with usb keyboard. device powers up but doesnt transfer info. looked in device manager and dont see any universal serial bus, only "PLUG AND play BiOs". i guess mainboard is too old, but i wonder why power even works.
