So an adapter has a Host Controller on the card? In other words does it have more intelligence and processing abilities than that of a Hub? Should I look for those chip sets listed on this page on the new PCI card I intend to purchase?
My PCI slots are tight, couldn't I just use one of the approved hubs (mine is a D-Link) and plug it into the Intel 8801aa PC provided slot?
