I am trying to run Redhat 7.3 on my IBM thinkpad. But, thanks to the Acer Labs USB ports on my computer, the installer crashes as soon as it starts loading the USB drivers. I know that the problem is that kernel version 2.4.x doesn't like the Acer USB ports. I also know that with Redhat 7.2 I can just type in "linux nousb" and it boots up and installs just fine. For some reason though, "linux nousb" doesn't work on Redhat 7.3, and i am completly dumbfounded. If anyone has any idea how to disable USB detection while installing Redhat 7.3, please let me know.
