: Have you updated the BIOS? HPs are limited in what you can do in BIOS setup. Try this with different USB switches in BIOS setup. Also try with both PnP and Non-PnP OS set.

: : I have an Intel QX3 microscope that used to work fine with an HP Pavilion 6535 computer. Now, if the USB cable from the QX3 connected the computer will not boot (it hangs at the HP splash screen).
