I also have an Alcatel SpeedTouch USB. Connects fine for a couple of hours, then still seems to be connected (flashing monitor icon) but isn't. Also, running my webcam online, connected through video capture card causes the whole machine to crash. Downloaded patches from usbman, and even installed USB 2.0 PCI adapter, but still the same problem.
