I recently purchased a sony usb-spdif device. It keeps on giving a error code 10 (device cannot start). However when i delete the driver and detect hardware, the device works seemlessly. I suspect a compatibility issue. I use an AMD 1600+ with a sis735 chipset. I got a Lucent pci-usb board (purchased recently).
