Unfortunately, this is not a U.S. product. I really hate looking through Sony's web site for anything. It's a mess - always.

You need to contact Sony for updated drivers. Also, open System Information (MSINFO32.EXE) and navigate to Hardware Resources > IRQs. Click anywhere in the right pane and then press CTRL-A and then CTRL-C. You have copied that data to the clipboard. Paste that data in a reply here.

: Which Windows version is this?

: I would suspect that the drivers need updating. Also be sure to plug the unit directly into the PC and not a hub.

: : Hi, I'm really at wits end and i need help. I recently purchased a sony usb-spdif device. It keeps on giving a error code 10 (device cannot start). However when i delete the driver and detect hardware, the device works seemlessly. I suspect a compatibility issue. I use an AMD 1600+ with a sis735 chipset. I got a Lucent pci-usb board (purchased recently). If there's no solution is it possible for the hardware to detect automatically every time i start my comp?
