I meant to say that there are no Turtle Beach or HP USB cards.
---------------------

: There are no HP USB cards, Susan. There are plenty of others though and most work just fine on HP machines and in WinXP.

: I need more info. Open System Information (MSINFO32.EXE) and navigate to Hardware Resources > IRQs. Click anywhere in the right pane and then press CTRL-A and then CTRL-C. You have copied that data to the clipboard. Paste that data in a reply here.

: : yes i do have a new 540hp pavilion w/windows xp. i am trying to use a usb headset 500. i have downloaded the software and the drivers. the drivers are all functioning. i also downloaded the patch for usb ports w/windows xp. my usb is only using 11% bandwith and i get no error reporting messages. when i searched the plantronics site i was told that usb ports are often not compatible w/out a chip on motherboard or a new pci card such as turtle beach to make my cd's play live. i need to know which turtle beach pci card to purchase and the compatability of the correct pci trutle beach card for my hp pavilion 540 and my windows xp. if u can research this and let me know which card i need to instal i would appreciate it. I have been told that the cards maynot be compatible w/hp. i know they are w/xp. ty susan
