: : Restart and go *directly* into Safe Mode (F8). In Device Manager, remove all duplicate drivers and then remove the USB Root Hub and Host Controller *in that order*.

: Bill,I don't know.I have a keyboard,mouse,and printer plugged in as of now and that's all.I have even unplugged the one USB working item(Intel webcam).
: They appear to have dedicated places to go.
: If I go into BIOS,will my mouse still work? the few times I went into DOS was kind of panicky as I have been a Mouser from the start.
