My driver is a "B1" driver.
: Do you have an "Enhanced" USB host controller present in Device Manager? Is it a "B1" or "B2" driver? Those are Beta.

: : : : I have an Archos Jukebox 20 with XP. A VIA motherboard with a USB 2.0 add-on card. The drivers are installed for the USB card. Device manager shows all USB drivers with no issues. The XP drivers on the Archos website are installed.
