If the printer fails too on the 2nd port, the motherboard is damaged slightly. You can add a PCI USB adapter card (USB 2.0 ie recommended) an have lots of ports. Figure about $40. Cheaper than a motherboard!

: I have systemax 5oo mhz pc with 2 usb ports located on back of pc. My operating system is WIN98 Second Edition. I have my Apollo/HP printer uses the one functional USB port.In device manager it list "USB Controllers" and the next line shows"USB Apollo/HP deskjets" When I try to plug my Logtech camera into the second USB port, it does not recognize the device at all. How do I correct this issue to get second USB port to work?
