I have a Proxmia 6850 Digital Projector. It has a USB connection for the remote control mouse operation which should been seen as a USB mouse when connected. When I connect it to my Dell Inspiron 3500 Laptop (Intel 82371 AB/EB Controller)running Win98Se finds it as a unknown USB device. The people at Proxmia say to change the driver for the unknown device to a USB mouse or HID Device and that will work. When I try to change the driver it won't give me option for those drivers, it's like it thinks it's some other type of device. I have a Microsoft USB mouse, it detects it just fine and loads a HID driver for that. Is there any way to force a HID driver on that unknown device? Can I get a driver for that somewhere?
