CardBus didn't fit into PCMCIA Typ I. It is an 32bit device and the PCMCIA Typ I is a 16bit device. Also an USB controller is an 32bit device. No chance to get a PCMCIA Typ I USB controller.

: My old laptop machine(Samsung Sens500, OS Win98SE) does'nt have a USB port. So I've bought a PCMCIA Card Bus only to find it does't fit to my machine's socket. The retrailer says it's because the socket is type I. Is there a type I card bus? Or what is the thinnest card bus that can fit to PCMCIA type I? If neither is available, how can I connect ADSL modem that has only USB port?
