That looks good. Does the cam work in the other port alone? Swap devices. If the port looks broken, it most likely is. It's not unheard-of. Pick up one of these:

It will add 5 ports to your system and enough "oompf" to run just about any combination of USB devices. I have one and it's dandy.

I was told that there should be 2 USB ports listed in system properties and it should be enabled. Since I am partially pc literate, can someone advised me how to correctly ascertain if there is a 2nd port on my sytem porperties and how to enable it. I am using Win98 SE on 500 mhz pc.
