Thanks for your information. I have already installed the Firewire update but still can't work..it really makes me frustrated!! Sigh..will try to source for more solutions..anyone with advices, please keep it rolling in..thanks~

: I'm wondering why you get an error in ntmaphlp.pdr, this is a driver ( WIn98SE, => Windows\System\Iosubsys\ ) used when a Firewire device is connected. There is a Firewire update available for Win98SE. This update also updates the ntmaphlp.pdr ( http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q242975 ).
