: I'm wondering why you get an error in ntmaphlp.pdr, this is a driver ( WIn98SE, => Windows\System\Iosubsys\ ) used when a Firewire device is connected. There is a Firewire update available for Win98SE. This update also updates the ntmaphlp.pdr ( http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q242975 ).
