No...I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with that particular reader. I do know, however, that most USB card readers are very troublesome. I predict that the whole genre will kill itself off because of poor design. Maybe IEEE 1394could do it better. Bill : Bill, as always thanks for the quick answer; unfortunately I can not take the board to the friend who is good at electronics (as far as I know problem is allways in some capacitor or diod). I know, using the device that works is most acceptable and chip solution (we are reselers for ActivCard :). I guess this case is similar in some way to one where machine freezes upon POST if USB reader is plugged in. I know for such a machine and will try other USB reader. I wonder if they know something at SCM Micro.... : Thanks again, LP, Blaz
