If your BIOS doesn't have USB in it's boot sequence, you can't. Can you remove the USB drive from the enclosure?

: The head on my internal hard drive is dying rapidly, so I grabbed an external USB 5-gig hard drive to back up all my stuff, and now I want to be able to boot from it...it works fine as an extra drive right now but I don't know how to make it bootable. So far I've checked in the NetBIOS and there's nothing about booting from USB ports...help me please!
