Brand, model, chip on the card?

: This week i got myself a USB PCI card to solve my VIA based chipset problems (mothertboard MSI), but when i installe it my WIN98SE wont reconize it and says there are no drivers for it, so i browse straight to where i know the drivers should be and I install the driver and win98 says no drivers you want to continue and gives me an illegal operation blah blah blah, So i thought this must me a conflict or something and I went and purchased a USB HUB, and guess what the same illegal operation, PLEASE any help and i will luv you :)
