I have Athlon and Asus A7A266-E mainboard. And I found one trick. When I restart my computer with wheel plugged into USB, wheel works fine under Windows tests, but is "dead" under games for example Colin Mcrea 2. But, when i disconnect wheel on first screen after restart (screen with information about my CPU and Memory) and connect it when next screen appears (screen with information "Shitty Windows loading... :D ), then wheel works fine (USB works good). Before i found this trick, my USB under games doesn't work, or work short, then hang up. Of course I try before all tricks from usbman.com site for Ali chipset and AMD first, then I combine with disconnect/connect USB things :).
