: My sister had an EPSON Stylus 480 SXU printer and Windows ME. The printer wanted to print to LPT1, but the printer was connected via USB.

: I had to add the USB driver off the EPSON CD (it was in the folder "DRIVER" on the EPSON CD). There was a file there for USB. Once it was added, the printer was set to print to USB and worked properly.
