: I recently bought a pci usb add on card due to a digital camera upgrade. I didn't have any usb ports so rather than buy a new motherboard, I slotted in a pci card. I eventually got it working, or so I thought but now whenever I try to transfer my pictures from the usb card reader, the pc locks up and requires a re-boot. It seems ok with small individual files but with larger or multiple files the same thing occurs. Has anyone else had any similar problems or heard of any issues with pci add on usb cards? my system is up to the specs required in the instructions ( Win ME 128 mb ram). The card has a VIA chipset which I'm not hearing great things about, but surely some must be ok?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Carl.
