Use these drivers:
ftp://www.siig.com/USB2.0_v2.06.exe
They are generic NEC 2.0 drivers.

: : 1. Never disable the onboard controller.
: : 2. With onboard enabled, try various slots.
: : Now - I do not see the NEC Enhanced controller. That would be your USB 2.0 controller. You must install that driver through Windows Update or from the manufacturer. If this is Windows 98 (you didn't mention and broke a cardinal forum rule), USB 2.0 is *not supported in Win98*.

: : : Hello,
: : : I hope you can help. I recently installed a PCI USB card (Innovision EIO with NEC chip) to my pc which occasionally works fine but mostly hangs the system when accessed. I'm running windows ME on a Shuttle hot 591p, VIA based motherboard. I've updated the bios and tried many different settings, all with the same result. I've tried several clean installations of windows and various combinations of PCI card positions (3 slots- modem, sound & USB)which still proved unsuccesful. Here are my IRQ settings, first with USB disabled in the bios, second enabled.

: : : P.S I've tried it without the sound card and modem installed but still no good. Sorry for so much info but thanks in anticipation.

: I'm running Windows ME. The disk that came with the card was empty on arrival so I downloaded what I thought were the latest drivers from their website (Innovisions). Do you think I should visit NEC's website for the drivers? Windows update said no recommended device drivers at this time. Thanks again
