Go here:

All you need to know is there. You will need your motherboard manual.

Bill

: Hello,

: I just purchased a 2x5 pin USB A-A Dual Female w/brackett for my computer.
:
: My motherboard pin numbers are:
: #1 VCC
: #2 Key
: #3 Data -
: #4 Data +
: #5 Gnd

: The wires on the USB cables are:

: #1 (Red) VCC
: #2 (White) Data -
: #3 (Green) Data +
: #4 (Black) Gnd
: #5 (Black) Sgnd (thicke wrapped wire)

: I have read on the internet that I should move the wires to match my pin numbers. Is this correct? If so, is it easily done without harming anything? Which wire do I put in the key slot?
: If not, What should I do?
: My mother board is a Titanium 1B pentium P51430TX OS Win98se
: Thankyou so much for any help you can give me......

: Tammy D.
