You can try pointing the installer to look in the C:/Windows/System folder. If that doesn't work borrow the CD from a friend.

: I have just bought a liteon external cd writer and have installed the burning software. however, my computer is not detecting the cdr drive. I havent got my windows 98 cd and under my system devices, a 'usb storage adapter' has no driver installed for it.I think i need this driver inorder for the burner to be recognized. pls help me. thanx.
