Windows XP (and Windows 2000) are so reliable that it's silly. I leave my PCs on 24/7. My server (WinXP Pro) only gets rebooted for software and hardware changes. XP Home hasn't crashed since 12/01 and that was bad nVidia drivers.

They are both worth the upgrade for certain.

: Yes, I think I will migrate to WinXP, even if I was resisting that. I've read that ACPI is much more configurable in such OS, so I'll give it a try.
