This is not a USB issue. If the camera is functioning USB is working. Your problems are in the software and and the way these individual programs use the resources. Windows sound is effected by changes in software. Open the Control Panel and use Windows Help to define and use the resources. If this does not work, contact the software makers for updates or work arounds.

: I have an IBM Netvista all-in-one pc (model 217952-A) running win98SE and which has sis7001 USB chipsets installed. When I installed my Logitech Quickcam Pro 3000 it disabled the volume keys on my Rapid Access III keyboard and slides the volume on my Real Jukebox (ver 2 basic) to mute after every song. I tried adjusting the bios and swapping around the usb ports. I have the latest keyboard and firmware drivers. Could anyone tell me if there's any way to overcome the problem or do I just have to take the webcam back for a refund and try another brand?
