Try updating the driver for the SB Host Controller. Don't let Windows search. Choose from a list and select "Standard Universal Host Controller" and finish.

Let me know if it works.

: I have a problem with my Spacewalker- motherboard HOT 553. It has an 82371SB USB-Controller onboard, Hardware-Version 0001, BUT it should work correct as read on the homepage, because it is labelled with "SU093".

: I have WIN98SE installed, there are no IRQ-Conflicts, and the system recognizes the Controller as "Intel 82371 PCI/USB Universal Host Controller". The root hub is also registered. The usb-support is enabled in the BIOS (the last one from 09/87). Now every time i want to connect a camera or a scanner, the system makes a new entry with an "unknown device", which is disabled. When i enable the device, it has a yellow "?".

: Can anyone help me? I've read that the chip should have some problems with usb, but the manufacturer of the board said that this version works fine with usb ... ??
