: You're a rude SOB, ain't ya? How much have you paid USBMan to date? Anything? I thought not.
>> Document to me you are a USB Engineer for XYZ Company, and write USB drivers for a living...then I might believe (and pay???...HA!) you.
Rude is replying to my last post, in which I gracefully ended this thread, since it was obvious to me we weren't going anywhere...you should learn when to let things drop.
: I'm not here to explore or explain theory. I am here to fix people's problems if I can. I've tole you what you can do, but you haven't even tried it, have you?
>> Oh?? Aren't they one in the same thing??
And as I said..the Win98SE USB.INF is very specific in what it loads for this and the "Generic Controller"...they are one in the same (and yes...I did try it, it loaded the exact same drivers, and it didn't work...so there...HA!!)
: Here - I have a solution. Spend some money and get a decent motherboard instead of that budget crap.
>> Tell me you are smart enough to turn "budget crap" into something decent for home use...certainly isn't crap when you can double the speed and performance of a system from what it was designed to do when it was first built...
Plus...USB 2.0 I/O cards are cheaper... ;-)
: There. I fell better now.
>> HAHA...so do I!!

: Frankly, I don't think you'll understand a word they say.
>> Trust me...with 16 years of Aerospace Telemetry Technology under my belt, I can hold my own. Plus I post to two other computer BBS and hold Advanced Member status there... I will go to the expert board and post there...don't bother to answer over there...let the "experts" answer me.
