Look in the Device Manager under USB Controllers. If you have a USB Enhanced Host Controller and at least 2 other Host Controllers, you have USB 2.0. If anything else, your system supports USB 1.1.

: I bought a new PC about a month ago and am now buying a USB2.0 film scanner. I don't know whether my PC supports USB1.1 or USB2.0 and the retailer knows even less than me. Is there some way I can check on my machine to find out?
