I would go for the card. Some cards have internal ports which can be connected to USB 2.0 4-port hubs that are mountable in spare floppy bays.

: Hi Bill, I've tried your solution before & it didn't work. I have even isolated my sound card & TV tuner card just to be sure that nothing is conflicting with my PCI USB card. Still no avail. Can I assume that this is a hardware problem? I am resorting to getting a new/replacement PCI USB card. Will that be a good idea or should I try something else?
