USB 2.0 works fine. RIght now have and external CDRW hooked up to it. Problems are1. When booted, an entry in the error log says:
The Maxtor PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller service failed to start due to the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
2. Cannot remedy the above by leaving the drive turned on because when I do, Bootup hangs at a black screen until I turn it off.
3. USB 1.1 device is not detected when connected to the card. Specifically a new HP PSC 2210.
4. Although drivers came with the card, when I tell Windows to use them, NOTHING works in the ports. When I let Windows install them, it changed them to NEC drivers and I get the problems listed above.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
