Have you visited Windows Update for the new drivers?

: Except changing to ACPI to a standard PC I have tried all other options and with no success. But did notice that in both XP and Win2k that the CDRW though connected to the NEC USB headers, is shown as connected to VIA USB headers.

: There were no USB devices listed under the USB Root power listing, but the CDRW is being listed in the normal USB Root, and even though i changed it to every single header on the MSI bracket for hi-speed USB, it still lists under the normal USB root, and WinXP keeps prompting that I have connected a hi-speed USB drive to a non hi-speed controller.

: Therefore I am wondering if the MSI NEC controller has a problem or if the BIOS is messed up, as there is no option in the BIOS to enable the high speed USB nor disable it (in case you don't need it!!).

: I wonder if there are any thoughts on this, man and I thought that USB 2.0 as just a walk in the park :)
