Open System Information (MSINFO32.EXE) and navigate to Hardware Resources > IRQs. Click anywhere in the right pane and then press CTRL-A and then CTRL-C. You have copied that data to the clipboard. Paste that data in a reply here.

: : : That's OK - I'm half-German. ;-)

: : : You have the infamous VIA host controller. What you should try first is updating the VIA 4in1 drivers:

: : : : : : Hi there!

: : : : : : Since a few days I have the problem that my Microsoft Intelli Mouse Explorer at the USB port randomly locks up and sometimes also completely freezes.
: : : : : : But the rest of the system keeps on running stable, its only the mouse that is not responding anymore.
: : : : : : I got the same problem with win2k and win98se.

: : : : : : The mouse itself is not broken because I got the same problem with the identical mouse of a friend at my PC.

: : : : : : The confusing thing is that a non-optical mouse at the same USB port works without any problems.

: : : : : : Thanks in advance for you help!
