That's right. You have USB 2.0, but the supplementary 1.1 controllers are not working. Try updating the drivers for them by *not letting Windows search* for the drivers. Select from a list (second selection twice).

It's quite possible that you have a bad sample. I would return the card or try it in another system.

: Mr Bill D,well I tried the method you recommended but to no avail still isn't any detection of the two NEC pci to host open host controller.Even when I tried to revert my settings back to day one using system restore it still manage to detect all the four devices only which are the enhanced NEC host controller(USB2.0),the two regular NEC host controller(which have exclamation marks on them) and finally the usb2.0 root hub.I don't have any USB devices plugged into the ports. So I don't have the chance to try the card out yet.Is it possible that the two regular controllers will only operate(take over the function of the USB2.0 with a usb root appearing) if I plug an USB1.1 device into the USB ports? Are they just for spare or it should be shown without the exclamation marks if properly installed. What I understand is that the NEC PTU-200 card which I have has 3 controllers built into one chipset. The first one is for the enhanced high speed USB and the two more as substitutes to offload the main one if a regular USB 1.1 is detected. Can you explain more about this to me sir?I am abit confused here.
