I also have a Creative Blaster USB modem which works fine on its own.

If I plug the modem in i'm ok until i plug the X73 in at which time I can no longer use the modem.

The system generates the following data:

Within my fax software (Venta FaX 5) but also other fax software that I have tried I get the following message when I try to send anything.

Modem occupied by another application (102)

If I try to query the modem via the phone and modem diagnostics option in control panel I get the following message:

The port that the modem is using is currently open by another application.

I am using Windows XP and the USB Host Controller shows the following:

VIA REV 5 or laterUSB Universal Host COntroller
VIA USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller

Can anyone help with this please.

I have looked through the archives and can't find anything.
