Depending upon the size of the file I want to print (simple letter or color picture), I receive the message "No response from printer - The computer tryes to send data to the printer but doesn't get answer".
(I also noticed that my problem is sensitive to the "history": when printing a file, it's ok the 1rst time but beacames nok if I try printing it twice...).

I downloaded from HP website and installed the last available driver : the problem remains.

I downloaded from you website and executed "Intel USB System Check" : all seems OK ("this system has FULL support for USB").

My (old, but already sufficient for my needs) PC is as follows:
- mother board = Matsonic MS5120
- BIOS = Award Modular Bios V4.51PG (realease 08/14/1997 S)
- processor = 166 MMX
- USB = 08/14/1997-VXPro+-USB-Ultr-2A5LDH09C-00
- PCI->USB universal controler = VIA VT83C572/VT82C586 (version 002)
- OS = Win98 (rev 4.10.1998)

Should somebody help me ???
