Okay - my turn to give back. If your a frantic, red-eyed user trying to find dos-drivers for your USB Hard-disk, try out the following from the USB resources page at:

http://darkehorse.web.com/

'Moto Hairu' driver... Supposedly a hard-disk dos driver, but I find it perfect for reading Compact Flash
cards, and I sincerely beleive if it's versatile enough
to read Compact Flash, and the several different card-readers I use, it will get through to your USB H/Disk.

'Iomega USB/Firewire boot diskette - A zip of Iomega's dos boot-disk for its product... Three ASPI drivers are
included in the Zip, ASPIEHCI.SYS for DOS USB 2.0 support, ASPIOHCI.sys for DOS 1.1 Open Host Controllers, and ASPIUHCI.SYS for 1.1 Universal Host
Controllers ... The following config.sys, a combination
of both Moto Hairu and Iomega, will find things like
the SiteCom Multi.Memory.Reader.Writer, and Zio! Compact Flash reader/writer:

device=a:\himem.sys
device=a:\aspiuhci.sys /int /all
device=a:\Di1000dd.sys

You can then fdisk/format your cards, and produce
bootable compact flash media... Ghost works well with
the above combination, I use 240Mbyte images from C.F.
to get machines onto our NT Network, then let the servers take care of the rest...

If your having problems with EMM386, try getting the
UMBPCI package from the same site, a himem-extender that seems to handle many problems USB Dos drivers
come across with EMM386...

Hope this helps some poor brother out there...
