A similar problem happened to my scanner. My neighbour tested the scanner and it worked fine. I'm fairly certain it's my computer.
I suppose I should let him test the wheel as well...but I think it'll work fine.
: I would try another wheel. Are you willing to reinstall XP for this gadget? After all, the wheel may be dead.
